History
Applied Technology International Ltd. (d/b/a Fabrifoam Products) is the creator and manufacturer of Fabrifoam®. ATI was incorporated in 1990 to commercialize the development of a unique and patented foam-fabric composite, Fabrifoam, for orthopedic and musculoskeletal care.
The company’s first branded product, the PSC™, was introduced to the market in 1992. It was made from ProWrap™, the initial material of the Fabrifoam family. Over 30 years later it is still used by podiatrists worldwide.
After the success of the PSC and ProWrap, the company developed and launched new materials during the late ’90s and early 2000s. This includes MediWrap™, NuStimWrap™, SuperWrap™ and Enthera™. With additional materials came diverse applications. Fabrifoam Products expanded into the OEM and private label markets.
In 2015 Fabrifoam Products created the line of X-treme™ material. X-treme material is a triple-layer composite material offering our devices more stability.
In 2016, Fabrifoam Products launched our GuardION® line of materials. GuardION incorporates the infusion of all-natural additives with the ability to release Far IR. Far Infrared rays are proven to increase blood flow and aid in healing.
As demand rose, Fabrifoam Products outgrew our manufacturing space. In 2019 the facility doubled in size. With the new space and equipment, we have tripled output.
Today, in addition to the Fabrifoam brand, the company specializes in developing new and innovative materials. By utilizing proprietary foam and specifically designed substrates, we create products that meet the growing needs of the vast medical market. Fabrifoam Products works closely with varying-size OEM manufacturers and customers, producing products that incorporate our advanced dynamic materials. Fabrifoam is used worldwide by medical professionals from neonatal to geriatric care.
